Every weekend across Trumbull and Mahoning Counties, the valley comes alive with fall festivals, trunk-or-treats, and community gatherings. This weekend is the season's big finish: the City of Youngstown's Trails of Treats at Wick Park, trunk-or-treats from Warren to Boardman and Niles, White House Fruit Farm's final harvest weekend in Canfield, and the 40th anniversary Ghost Walk in Warren. Here is what is actually happening in Northeast Ohio from October 23 through 25, 2026, organized by category so you can plan a family day out or a slow fall Saturday. Dates and details change, so confirm with each organizer before you head out.

A dry, sunny weekend to get outside

The outlook for Youngstown and Warren calls for a dry, sunny, pleasantly cool fall weekend. Friday is sunny with a high near 64, Saturday is sunny with a high near 66, and Sunday turns mostly sunny with a high near 70, with overnight lows in the mid-to-upper 30s.

With no significant rain in the forecast, the weekend's outdoor plans get a green light: the final farm weekends of the season, the afternoon and evening trunk-or-treats, and the illuminated pumpkin walks are all set for comfortable conditions. Bring a jacket for the evening events and you are set.
