Every weekend across Trumbull and Mahoning Counties, the valley comes alive with craft shows, farmers markets, toy shows, concerts, and community gatherings. Here is what is actually happening in Northeast Ohio this weekend, October 9 through October 11, 2026, organized by category so you can plan a family day out, a night of live music, or a slow fall Saturday. Dates and details change, so confirm with each organizer before you head out.
A quick note on planning your weekend
This is a big weekend for the valley: the Canfield Craft Show brings more than 230 artisans to the fairgrounds on both Saturday and Sunday, Toyhio and the NEO Reptile Show fill the Metroplex Expo Center in Girard back to back, and the Robins Theatre hosts a night of Cars-era rock in Warren. Meanwhile the farm markets and harvest stands keep their usual weekend rhythm, so there is plenty for families, collectors, and anyone who just wants to enjoy the season.
Several events listed here are ticketed, so grab tickets ahead where you can. Most outdoor events run rain or shine, and Northeast Ohio mornings are cool in October, so layer up and bring a jacket for the little ones.
