Every weekend across Trumbull and Mahoning Counties, the valley comes alive with parades, races, fall farm fun, and community gatherings. This weekend trades a rainy Friday for a clear, cool Saturday and Sunday, so here is what is actually happening in Northeast Ohio from October 16 through 18, 2026, organized by category so you can plan a family day out or a slow fall Saturday. Dates and details change, so confirm with each organizer before you head out.

Plan around the weather

The National Weather Service forecast for Youngstown and Warren calls for showers on Friday, with a high near 69 before temperatures fall through the afternoon. Saturday turns mostly sunny and much cooler, with a high near 52, and patchy frost is possible overnight. Sunday is sunny with a high near 61.

In practice, Friday is a good day for indoor stops, while Saturday and Sunday are great for time outdoors if you layer up. Most events below run rain or shine, so a jacket and a plan for showers will cover you either way.
